....did we run out of paint or something?

Anyone else notice the logos and endzone letters weren't filled in. Are we doing something different this year?

As cheap as it is, I hope that they're waiting for a game that's televised. I didn't like the paint scheme at all.
 
We've always switched up paint jobs on almost a game-to-game basis, and I've seen the one where we leave the letters open a few times before.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're filled in when MSU comes to town.
 
It was too wet to fill in the outline.

Lots of rain Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
They said it was so that the grass would be in better shape later in the season, for the "televised" games.
 
Yep, DRad said before the game since we aren't back for several weeks, and the potential weather, they thought it would be better for the field.

And that is also the reason we don't have a big midfield logo, which is a mistake.
