We won...period. We played in a Triple option offense with a questionable pocket passer. It's nothing short of an oxy-moron. CPJ won this game, now Clemson has very little film to view from this week, Nesbitt and Shaw got to stay healthy and we still won. Who said we have to blow out every team? Virgina Tech lost to ECU who got killed by UVA for christs sake, so what does that say about VT? They lost their cupcake, we still managed to win ours....

At least GT hasn't gotten blown out at home, see UGA and UA. There are worse things fellas. So we lost a few votes this week, did you all not see that coming either way against a cupcake this late in the year? The only thing I learned this game is how important the correct QB is, and how the O line runs being in front of Nesbitt and Shaw. I am thinking Nesbitt and Shaw do something to run that line a little better.

CPJ is not Chan Gailey, I refuse to waiver as fan of GT to say that after a game that had bad written all over it when we had to start a less-than-average pocket passing QB in the TO. Fact is, Paul Johnson wins in my eyes 1. because we won the game, 2. Nesbitt and Shaw have a whole additional week to be that much healthier for CU, and 3. CU has one less game of film to look at b/c I guarantee you all that PJ will never have a traditional pocket QB in his offense again.

Let's get ready for Clemson and as fans do, not blame our head coach (shows what bandwagon fans we have).

ROLL TECH!

I don't know who is blaming CPJ for this; whoever is doesn't know anything about the circumstances. I said this on another thread, but Booker was sorely out of his element. For each good/clutch play that he made, there were several more times where he was obviously a step too slow, missed a read, or just made a bad throw. Those three deep balls could have all gone for touchdowns had they not been underthrown. That said, the only good thing that I take away from this is that CPJ will be deep in each player's ass to make sure they are focused. I'm not satisfied with the whole "win is a win" thing, but then again, that doesn't matter right now. All I want is for us to take this out on every team with face from here on out, much like how we responded after the vt loss.

And unlike Gailey, neither is CPJ. CPJ is going to (and already has) rip into the entire team this week of practice because of this weekend. It's brilliant.

Blame -- Hell no! Every team goes through these: Look at USC, OSU, etc ..etc. I can only imagine what practice is going to be like this week

Support your Georgia Tech Marching Band as they travel to New York for the Thanksgiving Day Macy's parade!

Visit http://www.gtband.net for more details...

TANGENT ALERT:
Bumping this for those that don't read the sig lines. Give generously, people.

BTW, GTSax, we will be at the parade this year. We're looking forward to seeing, y'all. Are there any details on where friends and family might be gathering during the parade. How about a songs that you'll play, etc.? Inquiring minds and all.

The outcome of this week was quite possibly the best it could have been - much better than a blowout. This way opponents may still overlook us, PJ gets talking points in practice this week (which will be brutal) and we didn't risk injury to our QBs. It's absolutely the best of both worlds.

BUT IT STILL SUCKED AND I HAD TO BUY A PACK OF CIGARETTES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR TO DEAL WITH IT.

hehe.

At kickoff we say toe meets leather. This week at practice it will be foot meets behind all week long!

The next few weeks will show alot. Glad that we got the W. One of the big issues that I had with Gailey was that his teams did not get better throughout the season. The competition will be better in the weeks to come but I will be interested to see if we continue to improve. I think we will but we'll see.

I would not be surprised if CPJ uses a different tact this week.

Gives them a lot of instruction, positve feedback, and gets their legs back under them.

Nor would I be surprised if the kicks booty.

Saturday, you ain't here fast enough.
