The great Joe Hamilton's hometown..passed thru on my way to the final resting place of another great American Francis Marion the Swamp Fox.

That’s an awesome thing for a small town to have. Joe must feel great about it.

Those are both great songs, in my old age I am getting into all that old stuff again( I never did leave it) especially the Sun records stuff of Carl Perkins,et al. Johnny Rivers has some real good covers of Elvis & Carl plus he has a couple of tribute songs to both . The one about Elvis is " LAST TRAIN TO MEMPHIS " & the one about Perkins is " BLUE SUEDE BLUES ". He also does some cool covers of Jim Reeves' HE;LL HAVE TO GO & Hank Williams' YOU WIN AGAIN.
