LOOK who heads up Clem's son HC list

Re: LOOK who heads up Clem\'s son HC list

If they make a move in the next year or so, I'd think they'd love Jim Donn_n. He'd fit right in over there.

George won't wind up at Clempsun. Tommy's starting to wear out his welcome, however. I'd guess the idiots that hired him will give him another year to save face (their face) and then ride him out of town on a rail. He hasn't exactly been building a dynasty since he's been there. I may be wrong in this guess but I'm thinking Clemson's faithful want ACC championships (?) I hope Tommy Bowden has another trade. None of the Bowden boys, so far, have proven to be anything like Dad. I suspect they're as qualified to coach D1 football as Skip Holtz will be when Lou tries to hand off to him instead of Charlie Strong. When's the last time
nepotism worked in college coaching anyway?

you know O'Leary will be a head coach again with 3 years or so. I knew people would forget the resume thing eventually, but not this quickly.
you can say one thing about George, he had control of his team. Always well coached, well disciplined, not a bunch of stupid penalties (like three substitution penalites in the middle of October).

Re: LOOK who heads up Clem\'s son HC list

Quote from the Clemson board:

"Strong will have a hard time getting a head job in the south. I am not a racist but black man and white woman don't mix for a lot of people."

Are girls playing football at Clemson? Is that why this guy is worried?

Re: LOOK who heads up Clem\'s son HC list

Some of the quotes are funny. We could insert poster names from our board and Tech instead of Clemson, and you could swear we were reading our own board. We humans sure are a curious lot (of course I am included).

Gee, talking about coaches, it sure appears Notre Dame gets the trophy for catch of the year. Willingham is doing a great job there, even though I do not like Notre Dame.

Notre Dame may go undefeated in Willingham's first year. If we cannot defeat UGA, they may also be undefeated.

It also appears Oklahoma has a good chance and the winner of the Miami/VT game will be undefeated. There may be some hard decisions for the BCS at the end of the year.

If Papa Bowden loses another game, he might opt for retirement after this year.
