Running out of bounds on the last play in a one score game. That is not something people with a winning mentality do. Just throw it anywhere, try something, who cares! It can't be any worse than immediately losing the game.

So who wins the Razzy for worst performance in a college football game? OL, coaching staff, QB play, RB play or first half officiating?

It's not a loser mentality. He was just completely overwhelmed and unprepared to be a QB in an FBS game.
True. To play quarterback behind this offensive line you have to be athletic. This kid had no business being out there. I noticed on one play they put Smith in the wildcat position. Running that the rest of the game would have been better than the results we got.

When he started getting rid of the ball in 3 seconds, the offense moved. There would have still been sacks, but the O wouldn’t have been completely inept.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to tell him "after 3 seconds if no one is open just ground the ball'.

I don’t think the last play was a loser mentality play. He was just clearly overwhelmed by the moment and ööööed up.

Well I just read his post game comments on that last play. I was wrong. Loser mentality play.

Me too. He literally said he felt it was best to run out of bounds and take the loss. Wow.

Yep. It wasn’t the last play, it was all the plays. Sad that we don’t have someone more capable.
