?!?!?

Good heavens, run for your lives!!!!!

Great...They'll be a lot of people in purple watching their team lose and then have a 8.5 hr drive back.

GO JACKETS!

I am wearing a GT Santa suit. For real, its amazing. Look for me in the lower level endzone, you'll be jealous.

The only purple that ever needed to be feared; 'The Purple People Eaters'

Who has the picture of the Barney's photoshopped into a game pic? It was aimed at Clemson, but would work just fine here.

Wow! What a pic! Simply the finest Dline ever to play the game. Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall and Gary Larson were the best. Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain Dline of Mean Joe Green, Dwight White, Ernie Holmes and L.C. Greenwood were close, as were the Cowboys' Doomsday Defense Dline of Jethro Pugh, Bob Lilly, Willie Towns and George Andrie/ Too Tall Jones, and finally the Fearsome Foursome Dline of the old LA Rams consisting of Merlin Olsen, Rosie Grier, Deacon Jones and Lamar Lundy.

Those guys stayed together for most of their careers, and became so entrenched with their teams, it was a wonderful thing to behold over the years.

The Vikings were my first 'favorite team'. I started having 'favorite teams' around the age of 7-8 --so in '72 these were my guys.

This lasted until the '75 Hail Mary, Staubach to Drew Pearson.

I then became a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan --I had all of the gear; jersey, hat, stickers, mini-helmet, raincoat, bathrobe, bobblehead, football, etc. It was never the same though once Danny White and Tony Dorsett took over --plus the '81 Falcon playoff loss to Dallas really bothered me for a long time. In fact I still rank that game as my worst sports moment in history.

Funny to think back on this game and realize that my allegiances changed on a hail mary --but I remember it well.

Wow, the whole LSU Nation will be saying (nonverbally)

"Look at us in our crappy color. We got to pick last!"

That is not the picture I wanted to begin my New Year's Eve with. I constantly get down on Tech and the dreaded ratio, but damn, next time someone tries to tell me that LSU has hot coeds, this is Exhibit A. I think shortly after this picture was taken, the girl on the right was eaten by the girl on the left.
