I think for some of these programs there’s a self feeding aspect from former players and agents. Agents support the schools they have connections with to establish rapport with players who then sign with the agents and pay back the school to get more players, etc.

Isnt the so called school that's named LSU bankrupt?

That was the worst part of driving to Texas. Louisiana is a cesspool.

I've always found the worst part of driving to Texas is arriving. Second worst thing is waking up and realizing you're still in Texas.

Bah, Texas is awesome. If I didn't live in Georgia, Texas would be my next choice of places to live.

Fair point. There are places in Texas I probably wouldn't want to live but that's true in Georgia as well.

Houston is like a double-bad Atlanta, hotter, more humid, more shopping mall sprawl, 2 "perimeters" plus the added threat of flood!

It does have good restaurants and more cultural assets like symphony etc

West Texas is a bare desert land filled with pumpjacks, pickup trucks and roadside breakfast burrito shacks

Far East Texas is basically Louisiana

The panhandle of Texas (like Amarillo) is a wasteland of I-40 trucker stops, crappy eateries, over-zealous law enforcement, and many wishes to be in Vegas already

[BuzzCzar]

As far as Obesity, Georgia and Texas are about the same

Atlanta has a great symphony. Go visit the high museum one Saturday and take in a concert.
