LSU's Favorite: "It’s going to be easy"

Yeah... Easy to give up on the play after Voss drops him like a rock and Dwyer stiff arms the DB into the stands and runs 65 yards for the TD...

Where did he say "easy"? The article closes with this:
“I’m looking forward to playing against it,” Favorite said. “I know it’s going to be difficult.”

Okay, you read the last sentence, now read the rest.
Paraphrasing:

"We play well when we have time to study, so having a month off will help."

"Option is hard enough to defend, but the tripple option is mind-boggling."

Ah... there's where I missed it:
"But I think if every player listens to the coaches and plays their part, it’s going to be easy."

Then he goes on to say that they're going to have to watch a lot film.

So he has the one statement there. Everything else he said was completely contradictory.

Well, let's just pretend that he said it was going to be a cakewalk and he doesn't know who Jonathan Dwyer is, but he's sure that he won't rush for 50 yards on New Year's Eve. Get mad!

"It's going to be easy".........

That's mistake #1 for this peabrain. Even if it is going to be easy, he'd be a fool for stating it. Looks like to me they consider it to be in the bag for them.

Could be too. But, I doubt it.

“You have plenty of time to prepare and relax,”

I have a feeling PJ and the guys are not relaxing.

I also didn't see anyone say it's gonna be "easy". I did chuckle at all of them saying they we're going to sit down and decipher the offense. laff.

Won't happen, but it would be hysterical if they were all set to defend against the run, and we ended up passing like we did against Duke!

But I think if every player listens to the coaches and plays their part, it’s going to be easy.
They've had all year long to study traditional offenses and they've been wholly incapable of doing that. What makes them think they can do better when they have to put those esteemed LSU educations to work while playing?
