This morning's paper said "Jackets shine in OT" on the front page of the paper. They promote us like that when we do well. Shocking. Also, I believe no mention of U[sic]GA, but I'm sure in this case that doesn't matter.

I'm not sure how up to date this information is, but Jared Edwards looks like a defensive tackle we need. Big frame, not fat, and really good speed.

He visited us last weekend...told our coaches he was committed but had to take an obligatory visit to Baylor on Monday...then changed to Baylor the same day.

We also got some guys we didn't think were even on our radar, including a Parade All American RB. I'm not so bent out of shape about how things have gone.

Without another commit, we'll end at 17 for the year. 17 happens to be 85 (total scholly limit) divided by 5 (the total number of season for most football players). In a year with a coaching change. Also, in a year where it's been reiterated over and over again that this staff (or at least those with connections to the staff) will not hand out schollies willy-nilly.

Nothing to see here...move along.
