I'm not looking forward to Nov. 24th.

We are going to have to take a dramatic step up to keep that game close. I can't stand them but since Moreno has gotten more PT they are an entirely different team on offense. I desperately hope I'm wrong since my wife and her entire family are UGA grads/fans.

I was flipping between UGA/Auburn, VT/FSU, OState/Ill and GSU/Furman

I finally just didn't bother to turn it back to the UGA/Auburn. Ii amazes me how they are such media darlings.

Right now BC/Maryland is what it's tuned to, aside from a quick check on the Oklahoma game and a flip to The Departed on HBO during commercials.

UGA football is getting more thuggish every week. Against Vandy the stomping on the V, Puppy pile up at UF, and last night the hip hop music & dancing on the field prior to kickoff & side show of dance moves on the sidelines on the jumbo tron....AU gave up on the game & it got ugly....UGA still had several costly penalties throughout the game that kept it close early & the short kicks & kicks out of bounds really could have cost them at the end......I wanted a closer game & a gut wrenching loss for UGA...I hope the thuggish twist ends up costing them a big game...

Oh one more funny thing about the game last night was the football player UGA featured/honored on the jumbo tron was a Junior but his major was "pre-business"...looks like another uGa athlete on a fine academic road to success..

No. I didnt. I was amazed at the 24k people standing in Paulson. Silent. Watching our playoff hopes go down the drain.

Ill have a look for pics of that kicker. Maybe we'll still make it. Doubt it though. Wofford will win the conference, and App State should be picked over us due to the OOC win over Michigan. Thats more impressive than our OOC win over SJSU.

that 'thug' mentality is what's helping them win games. Just like it used to help Miami.
You have to let your players have fun and get wild, because that's what they like to do. They DO listen to hip hop and they DO dance around, just because some fan thinks its 'thuggish' shouldn't stop them from doing it. It helps the players get hype. That's the society we live in.

It's already too far. In every society there has always been a segment outside of the moral standard. Every time, that counterculture has attempted to be squashed. Sometimes with more success than other times.

After the vanderbilt game, it appears that coach Richt gave up the idea of winning with dignity. I can't completely blame him though.

Wow, I am in my 3rd semester at GSU, and Ive already eclipsed the pre-business program and am beginning upper division coursework.
