The fan body can piss and whine and moan forever about this game.

Face it guys, we got our butts whoop. Pure and simple, we got our butts whoop.
Admittedly, we did a lot of our own butt whoop'n but we still got our butts whoop.
Calling Les Miles or the officials or the LSU football team bad names only makes us look the worse.

All of the hype of us being rated over LSU by the media is/was just that, HYPE! This ranks right up there with rating recruiting prospects with stars. Stars and Hpye don't mean diddly squat.

Let's get these (rose or in our case, gold) glasses off and look at it for what it is. Just a loss.

Our football team is not a really good football team, YET. Yes, we've shown some shots of brilliance, but overall, I don't see us as a consistent really good football team. I do think we are better than a pretty fair tho. Will we get better? Danged right we will and I expect it to happen relatively soon. When CPJ gets his own recruits in and when we can compete with the headliner teams on recruiting, we'll get better and be a really good solid consistent team. But, not yet.

Now, why did we lose?

Started w/the kickoff, then LSU crammed it down our throat.

Well said my friend, well said. Eventhough I was one of the ones cursing Mils lasy night. Was more pisses than anything.

Pretty simple really.

We couldn't run, we couldn't pass, we couldn't block, we dropped passes, we couldn't stop the run, we couldn't stop the pass, we got killed on both sides of the LOS, we fumbled a punt, we kicked the opening kickoff out of bounds, we committed some stupid penalties, we weren't prepared, we were out-coached, CLM is a d*ck, and we spent too much time reading our own press clippings and listening to ESPN. In short, we got our a$$es royally thumped.

Other than that it was a pretty good game. The run from the tunnel on to the field was epic.

I'm still proud to be a Yellow Jacket and I'm very excited about the future of our program.
 
Amen Rome, GtDad. Lets not go the UGAG route:
"they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves"; "if **** had happened (take your choice for the ****), etc, etc, etc.

The stink from our game would have knocked a buzzard off a honeywagon, pure and simple. Let's just, as you say, man up, admit the obvious, and hope the coaching staff can recruit well enough that in future bowls, the buzzards aren't in danger.

I have not heard or read one thing to suggest they did not play great and whip us.

That does not change the fact that less miles is a jackass that hopefully loses every game he plays, including ugag.

They did indeed whip us. There is no doubt that they were the better team last night.

The fact is, however, they played above their heads and we played WAY below ours. We were unprepared and it showed big time.
