This is a big one, we can really see if were back on the right track after this one. A few things I gathered today after some chats.

1. Nesbitt's role will grow more this week, last week it was scripted for him to have 2 series to himself didn't happen after his nervousness early, he is taking more reps this week and should get around 2-3 series this week I'm hearing.

2. Deuce is good to go, he feels better then last week.

3. Lonowski is probably out, Cord will most likely start, Dunmon will see some time.

4. Grant should be more involved this week, last week he looked good getting back into the speed of the game. Lining up in the slot most of the time I'm assuming.

5. Donley will get a shot at WR, not sure how much he will play but he will atleast get more PT then the last couple weeks. WR's gotta start catching those easy balls.

6. Dwyer will get more carries then last week, Tashard was just doing so good they let him carry the load, I expect Jon to get around 5-10 carries this week.

7. The D is licking their chops at yet another new QB, Philip Wheeler will introduce himself early and often to Mr. Turner Saturday. Barnes is starting! Bowen will play some.

8. We have two guys who have more serious injuries then most would really realize. They are taking one for the team here. Neither wants to not play.

9.Maryland is gonna stack the box against us, I expect us to have more then just the 15 passes from last game maybe in the 25 range.

10. We should be finding out soon if we are getting a commitment or if he is just holding out for a while still. We also might be sending out another '08 offer next week.

Hope everyone is having a great hump day!!!

demj, do you see some of the same focus and intensity you mentioned last week before the Climpson game?

Dem- Thanks!! RE:#8 on your report. What kind of injury are we talking about?? Leg? Shoulder? Can the replacement availabe at that spot fill well enough?

Will Calvin Booker see any action Saturday? Are there any packages designed with him in mind?

I'm still of the mind that Taylor should have some room to grow, but if he's not getting the ball moving and points on the board, the backups should be playing. Our receivers also need to step up big time.

I think they are still very focused, I look for the same intensity Saturday as the Clemson game.

One is a separated shoulder, the other is undisclosed but supposedly just as bad as the other one. The replacements are fine at both positions, the backups have seem a lot of time for both positions.

I don't think there are any packages just for Calvin. I think it would be fair to have Calvin atleast given a chance if Taylor is struggling he knows the offense very well, and adds another dimension. Nesbitt does have his own packages though, should see them this week.

Are we talking Djay Jones and/ or Shane Bowen?

Are they taking one for the team or is the team going to be taking one for their pride? Playing with an injury is always risky business in football, would you say that these guys are close to full speed?

They are close to full speed but have some definite pain while playing.

I am sure most fans would like to know the game readiness of all our players. However, reporting on players' injuries might not be the best for the team or the player. In one of the games this year, one of our players' injury was aggrevated when it was "accidently" stepped on by a player from the other team. Our player was unable to play the rest of the game. I am being vague on purpose because I don't to want to give MD or any other team ideas.

Go Jackets!!!

That's right thats why I cant just say it straight up what it is.

is it the same player that was stepped on? nevermind. i guess that could give it away. my guess on the shoulder would be a guy that's played one handed b4 but...either way i care for the players but not enough to try and dig for info that could hurt the team

You have one right, the other only plays at certain times.

Yeah I know one is Djay.

Cox is playing with pain.
AJ Smith is too.
The other person hurting is Gaston.
MJ aggravated something last week too; but he is fighting through it. I wish he could get healthy.

DJay is fighting thru stuff but not one of the two seriously injured. Neither are the others you named. Gaston hasnt even really been on the field. MJ is fine for the game, Smith will split time, Cox will play banged up but not serious.
