In what should be Marylands most promising recruit this season, the Terrapins pickup U of Florida's #2 QB. Josh Portis, Meyer's prized recruit from a yr ago, will RS in '06 & be a rs Soph for the Terps in '07. Portis came in early last yr & played in Florida's Spring gm, doing quite well.
This is a terrific QB for the Fridge to work with & should be exactly what the HC has been looking for. The upside for Maryland & Fridgen could be another run at the top o the ACC.
