Maryland Take on the Game

Both views are accurate. We made mistakes to help them get the lead, then they made mistakes to help us get the win. In the end, the turnovers and miscues probably evened out and the final score shows who the better team is.

In a game such as last Saturday's, where both teams can point to mistakes that provided opportunities that each team took advantage of, it usually comes down to which team can put it together in the 4th quarter to bring home the victory.

In most cases, it's usually the better team that prevails, as was the case Saturday. Unless you are just a powerhouse program that reloads every year, guess you would categorize OSU and USC as those type of teams right now (and there are others), you have to come to play every Saturday, and even USC had a battle with Washington over the weekend.

I see GT as I see most good programs right now, when things are clicking, they can play with/ beat anybody. But if you do not bring your 'A' game, or at least your 'B' game, you can find yourself trailing at the end of the 3rd quarter, and you have to put it all together in that 4th quarter to prevail, as GT did against the Terps.
