Maryland up 14-0 early over Cal

Stunning start in College Park. I thought this would be a Cal blowout, and of course there is still plenty of time for that.

Also, first play from scrimmage for Clemson (I think it was the first, I switched over mid-play) was a pick six for the Wolfpack. Who missed the PAT, of course.

Ford just found the end zone, play under review.

After watching the start of this game, I'm beginning to wonder whether MD is as bad as they seemed to be after the first two weeks. Maybe they just had a poor start and things are beginning to click. Or maybe Cal is still asleep; we did that a lot last year.

Turner looks pretty good at QB, so I think their play is largely based on him not screwing it up.

West to east plus a noon game is not good for Cal.

Fridge seems to have figured it out.

So the ACC is not dead. Hmmm. What a rational thought.

If MD pulls out a win, it will be an upset!

good for the ACC though!

Anyone see that awesome hit, and then the guy puked up green Powerade lol :laugher:

(Well, as long as he is not seriously injured it is funny...unless it was Stafford of course.)

What really made it funny was the color commentator (Andre Ware?) was preaching about how dominate the PAC-10 is. Yeah, they looked real dominate there laying on their side puking green powerade.:laugher:

Maryland's magic looked like it was running out once Cal finally woke up. Still Maryland held on, which is all that counts.

After a tough 1st two weeks of the season, including a loss to MTSU, they held on to beat #23 U Cal.
