Maryland v. UVA--what happened to Fat Ralph?

Maryland confuses me:

They beat Clemson and Cal.
They lose to MTSwho?
They get blown out by a UVAnal team that wanted to surpass Duke's achievements in the past three years.

What is going on? How can you be that inconsistent from week to week?

Did Al Groh sign some NFL players last week?

1. Maryland was a pretender.
2. UVA getting the **** kicked out of them by Duke last week motivated them.
 
Two things.

Fridge is still a genius and if he really, really wants to beat you there is a good chance he will. He just doesn't seem to keep the focus every week.

This is exactly what we needed. Film of this game will keep our players from laughing off UVA preparations and laying an egg ourselves.

No kidding, this one is a real eye opener and we have not done so well against UVA at times.
 
They're on drugs. I'd imagine Groh is headed back to one of the NFL vacancies ala Chan. Good man just way in over his head at the college level.

Hmmm.. who next at ole Virginny? ... The worm turns!...
