Yeah right. Kid gave it all he had, the OL sucks. We were out coached, out played in every facet of the game.

Busting his ass out there while getting chased by huge LSU defenders? Hell he put his body thru alot and was not getting the blocks he needed at all.
What game were you watching or did you leave at the half too?
 
no, just didn't look like he had it tonight. My thinking is that the entire team looked as if they practiced 2 times all month. Not much fire in any of them.

I just didn't see anything like that. Honestly, the offense wasn't on the field long enough for any observations past uniform color.
 
CPJ might have to rethink his "the bowl game is a reward for the players" mindset. Obviously, Les Miles mindset was something different from that.
 
Questioning Josh's heart or desire is pretty stupid. Kinda hard to get going or in a groove as a QB when the o-line is getting pushed back 3 yards all night.

Josh may not have played very well, but this loss had a lot more to do w/the LOS being dominated.
 
I think CPJ knew we might have some trouble running the TO against LSU. It didn't look to me like we came out running it like we have before.

But to blame this loss on JN is beyond stupid.
 
well, back to the original question. Are the rumors still smoldering?
 
Where did this rumor start? I heard it a week or 2 back. Is it even credible? Why would he, is my biggest question...
 
There was a thread a while back about Josh transferring. The assertion actually gained a little bit of traction but the thread faded without any follow up.
 
i hope it is dead and burried! Some of the verbage in the thread eluded to possible academic issues.
 
I would think that the only reason why he would consider transferring is if he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be the starting QB next season.

Very hard to believe rumor though because I think of him as one of the most competitive players on the team and I can't imagine him transferring (aka quitting) and not fighting to keep his starting role.
