"Perhaps it was his age or the long layoff, but Mayweather, known for his defensive brilliance, got hit a bit more than usual. Nine Mayweather opponents landed less than 100 punches in a 12-round fight -- including Pacquiao, who landed 81 -- but McGregor landed 111 in 10 rounds."

Ahh Mayweather will win and should, its his sport. Don't feel he can knock Connor out, maybe a ref stoppage due to cuts or something. Will be boring early as they feel each other out, Floyd will jab and run away. Mcgregor has a chance in rounds 3 through 5 to put something on his chin when Floyd will engauge him more and feel comfortable putting his combinations together. After that Connor will be winded and tired hoping to make it the distance in the rest of the rounds. It would be more interesting to have a boxing match and a mma fight. Conor would knock him out in less than a minute by those rules and wouldnt even need to try a submission.

KJ prediction: Ref stoppage round 10

he was tired for a reason tho. and that reason was one unblocked punch away from knocking mcgregor's frontal lobes into the front row.

This is why I don't trust boxing. The score was not that out of hand. Mayweather was up by 2-3 points not 7-8. It seems to me these judges were a pressured by higher ups to not let boxing be destroyed.

If you watch the gif above, it is pretty easy to see that Mayweather was just toying with him at this point. Conor was staggering backwards, and was ripe for some serious damage. Ref made the right call.

Obviously the ref stepped in when Mayweather put his Right forearm on McGregor to measure him for a knockout.
