He played 5 years of CFB, wanted to try the NFL instead of use a 6th yr due to covid

I could be wrong, but I don't think he did because he didn't have a redshirt year. So I was under the impression that this year was his extra year. But again, could be wrong.

Couldn’t have wrote a better post myself. McGowan was a really good player and I believe has NFL talent and skill set. Good luck to him.
