Nevermind me. Once Duke forces a couple buffalo wings up my rear hole, and I lose all hope of attending the Diamond Nuts Bowl, I will fade away like this thread....

ehhh idk, could also just be Miami. Also I think the rage is less cause a lot of those games were just depressing to watch for all involved.
 
I think part of the reason is the chat rooms. Meltdowns were noticeably better when everyone had to post to thread. Now with chat rooms (even our own) that's where all the good freakout gems are.

You nailed it. It takes pressure and time to form diamonds. Chat rooms make it too easy to instantaneously vent a little steam and calm down before your hate and rage can aggregate to defeat your superego and turn you into a beautiful lunatic.

It'd be hard to find a program with more built-in advantages – huge money, flexible admissions & curricula, deep local talent pool, etc. – than A&M.

It'd also be hard to find a program that's been more mediocre, especially adjusted for those advantages, than A&M. Since 1967, A&M has 14 seasons of three losses or less. That's comparable to UNC.

I hope Jimbo can make it interesting over there, but never bet for A&M.

Um, comparable to having more and doing less. What's that team I'm thinking of? You know. They're like an hour east of GT?

They have only ever been even the least bit relevant when the rest of their half of the conference has been horribad.
