Keep it in here, no need for 5 threads about the same game:

Okay, 1st of all , i just wanna apologize to Tenuta and the defense for not having an Offense to help them out. I miss Reggie Ball, yea i said it.

Josh Nesbitt has shown more life than anyone. Too bad we had 25 yds in penalties to negate a fine 14 yard run.

I miss Calvin Johnson. Bennett looked a hell of a lot better when he had him as a target. Also, no need to apologize to Tenuta. His secondary is getting killed AGAIN. Wright is just absolutely awful.

Yea Wright is bad, but I always expect our secondary to have trouble.

Our offense just refuses to finish drives, man it's frustrating.

I know Grant is a Sr, but enough is enough, PUT IN DWYER to spell Tashard.

Bennett: 7/20, 62 yards, 1 INT in the first half. That brings his season pct. to 51.1%.

I am starting to come around to the thinking that Bennett might not be the answer. Though I still maintain he would've been the answer last year.

We have no other option. The team is not constructed solidly. Our recruiting is looking up, but we are suffering today because of the sins of the past three Chan years. And we let several qb's think they had no chance to play--or very little chance to play in an uptempo offense-- so they transferred out.

Duh, ya think? And if he had played last year, think of what that experience would meant to us this year.

and everything about this offense just screams "up tempo" :laugher: Let's just let Nesbitt play the rest of the year and take our lumps, Lord knows it can't get any worse, and his redshirt is already eaten so why not. We finally let him throw a pass, i think it was a miscommunication more than it was a bad throw, I think that he thought that Johnson was on the outside of the DB, and not the inside. Let Nesbitt start the 2nd half, and open up the playbook for him, not just QB draws.

Please give Nesbitt a series here. Nesbitt complements Choice, Choice between the tackes and Nesbitt on the edges.

What I don't understand is why we are on pace for 40 passes again (like we did @ UVA) when we're averaging more than 4 yards a carry. We are a run-oriented team!

Use some $#@%!@%#@%%@#%^& common sense!!!!!

It almost seems like our offense either wants to do concentrate wholly on passing, or wholly on running. We can never seem to be able to rely on the running game while mixing it up with just enough downfield shots to keep the defense honest.
