Well part of the reason for that is that we usually play some of our toughest opponents in those Thursday night games. When is the last time we played Duke or Wake on Thursday?

Seems like it's always F$U, Clemson, Miami or VT.

regardless - Thursday night games do us no good whatsoever. They're stupid.

I agree on Thursday night games no longer being worth it. NFL ruined them. Labor Day was cool, I'd do that again. The best thing for our program would be to play big games during Saturday time slots when no one else is.

I don't mind the Thursday night games when they're away, but I hate trying to drive down to Tech during rush hour. Last time, it took over 90 min from Kennesaw, including about 30 minutes to drive the last mile.

Thursday night games are good for podunk locations, like Blacksburg. I don't know why more SEC teams don't have Thursday night games, unless Friday is trash pickup or take your welfare check to Walmart day.
