Among the details that are being worked out is whether Cameron indeed wants the job. Cameron was said to have to speak with his family about moving from Coronado, Calif.

Just when you think it's over.

Exactly... Why go through a 10+ hour interview yesterday, only to say, "Sorry. I don't want to move here. Thanks for the offer, though!"

There were indications that Mora Jr. was offered the job and turned it down. Maybe Cameron is in the same situation.

sure was exciting here to see everyone posts their coaching wish lists the past few days... could really feel the excitement building for a new era...

balloon meet pin...

I think we are going to end up seeing that Chan is indeed a good coach(he certainly cannot be as bad as people here seem to think, as seen by these latest NFL situations), but he was unfortunately stuck with Reggie for four years. Yes, he should have absolutely at least tried Bennett, but it is difficult to blame his coaching for what Reggie couldn't do. With a stellar recruiting class coming in, a good QB for next semester, and Choice coming back, I think it is a bit of an overreaction to be saying "nut bowl here we come" and "balloon meet pin [of great new era]".

Yes, he has done some incalculably stupid things(not at least trying Bennett), and yes, I think he sucks as a playcaller(hopefully our new OC will be taking those duties), but I am kind of glad to hear that he will (supposedly) be back. With all these organizations and people giving Chan votes of confidence, I am anxious to see what we will do next season; especially opening at Notre Dame, which should be a game we can win that will grab us some national attention.
