Great hire, it it happens, but what about recruiting? We are already behind the 8-ball. UVA's staff lauded at Blue-Gray game today and referred to OUTSTANDING recruiting class and announcers saying UVA to be formidable for years to come! I feel left out, and if we have to wait til Feb., OUCH!

I think recruiting will be ok. If we keep Lance (recruiting coordinator) and some of the other coaches then they already know who (students) we are looking for. We only have 17 ships this year and we have 6 commits.
It is NOT necessarilly a bad thing to tell the recruit your HC is still coaching in the pros. I imagine CG will be doing alot of phone calling during this time period
