Why not? It's time for a defensive player to win the Heisman and looking at the top candidates right now, there aren't any good offensive choices:
Knowshon will be just okay.
Wells; people won't want to be fooled by OSU anymore.
Teabo will have more weapons and he'll do less.

To hell with the Heisman. I think that if MJ plays his cards right, he may be on the ballot come November 4th.

You got to throw Walker in there too. If the D-line was designed to open up the play for the LB's in Tenuta's D, what will Wommack's D do for Walker and MJ???? Walker had 8.5 sacks as DT in Tenuta's D. Its hard to imagine but that number might just go up this season. Giff Smith said last year before the season started that Walker would be the best he has ever had. He made a huge statment last season so why can he not improve this year? Something to ponder.....

If we win the ACC then MJ may get invited to the Heisman ceremony. If we fail to win the ACC, then his name will not be mentioned.
