They're serious about enforcing the rules at Michigan. So much so that they almost joined the SEC because of that conference's schools' well-known tough stances on coaching malfeasance.

You get a stronger slap on the wrist from a dominatrix. Like your mom.
I guess the alternative was a sternly worded talking-to from themselves.

Michigan hadn't beaten OSU in like 10 years. Now they beat OSU and make the playoff two years in a row and the NCAA starts an investigation. Probably just a coincidence.

Very bold move. How are they going to survive that gauntlet of an OOC schedule (ECU, UNLV and Bowling Green) without him?
Good play by Michigan.

Sources told ESPN in January that Harbaugh could face a suspension of three to six games for a Level I violation. Michigan also faces four Level II violations, which are considered less serious.

What’s their ‘24 opening schedule? Divide your likely 6 game suspension against bullshit teams over 2 years. I’m not even mad. That’s brilliant.

They should hold a lottery to determine which games he's suspended for. They can broadcast it on the B1G network.

Or let opposing teams bid to have him suspended against them. Proceeds go to charity.

Actually pretty smart on Michigan’s part. They had been negotiating a 4 game penalty which would have included Rutgers this year. But if you serve 3 this year and wait for the NCAA to determine 4 was appropriate, then you only miss 3,this year and 1 next year (Fresno).

If they wait for the NCAA to impose 4 next year, he’d miss the Texas game.
