Mike Leach on Line one

So, everyone wants the passing version of CPJ?

I don't. Mike Leach would merely be taking the problem and inverting it. All of the underlying issues remain, you've merely changed which facet of the game you ignore and which you're good at.

While we are at it money needs to be appointed to have a staff around this head coach. We are outmanned at this position as well.

And where do you think that $ is going to come from?

Can’t afford to buyout CPJ, pay off 2 b-ball coaches and hire a new guy with a legit staff.

I think Woody is a good hire but will need time but the offense should bet on point and that is on cpj

Wonder if we are the only college football team without an OC since the 2001 season (ccg did not tell the truth about Nix).

The school has plenty of money. They could invest to make more. There are football teams that generate a lot of revenue to be put into buildings and such that can benefit the entire school.

He would be able to recruit better qb, wr, and ol. Our d would be better based on Leach’s previous stops, but still not so good.

iiwii

cpj has 3/4 of a season to win back part of the base. No reasonable fanbase would support this bad of a team for long. That sr ol is awful.

I know that Brett Bielema's stint at Arkansas didn't turn out well but he was in the SEC West. When he was at Wisconsin his offensive lines pushed people around and their backs ran it down their opponent's throats. He would not let up on the gas when he had a sizable lead either. I would be in favor of luring him back to the college ranks from the Patriots and having George Godsey return home as our OC and let him run a Friedgen type system. The only coaches I would be willing to retain would be on the Defensive side. I think recruiting would be on the uptick and I would like to see what the guys on that side of the line of scrimmage could do with better players (if we could recruit them).

I've got a good RB's coach we could bring along too.
