Acc. to CPJ, they've allowed a grand total of THREE TD's all season. Two on drives of less than 15 yards, and one a junk TD late in the game (with presumably subs).

CPJ says they could be the BEST D we've faced yet. Considering we just played BC and VT, that is some statement. :wow:

I just don't believe they're any tougher than BC or VT. People look at that pitcher's duel they had vs. Auburn and say "man what a D!", but you have to realize that Auburn is breaking in a new offense with a new QB. Crap happens.

Now, if CPJ wants to say all that stuff to get the team fired up then hell yeah, pound it into their minds that MSU will be the best defense we've played yet.

but I, as a fan, don't think so.

keep in mind that this STOUT DEFENSE for Miss. State got beat by West Virginia 38-12 last year. They were up 28-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and RRod pulled Pat White at the half.

The MSU defense is not a smart one and will not be able to stop the option. I expect a blowout.

I hope you are right, but WV did that to most teams they played last year. We are not on the level that WV offense was on last year...YET.

this is a good thing. You want a coach that is a great motivator. You want to find stuff like this everyweek to motivate the boys to give everything.
 
I think we can beat MSU if we dont have so many turnovers b/c thats whats killed us the last two games
