Guy does a good analysis on some of the good stuff MJ did during the UGAg game and why it has increased his value in the eyes of scouts....

I'll be sad to see him go but wish him well playing on Sundays. Perhaps he can get drafted to the Giants and play with some other stud GT alums.

He will be a top 3 pick so I doubt he'll be playing for the Giants.
He'll either be a Lion, and Bengal, or a Chief. Here's hoping to the Chiefs because the other two franchises are officially jokes. At least the Chiefs on ocassion sniff the playoffs.

The Giants are going to have to lose more games than are left on the schedule, I think, in order to have a shot at MJ. He reminds me, potential-wise, of Mario Williams who was the first pick in the 2006 draft by the Texans (and boy don't they look brilliant now taking him over Reggie Bush when most of the world, myself included, thought they were nuts). Freakish combination of size, speed and athleticism and when he turns that motor on he's unstoppable.

I can't wait to watch MJ on Sundays and am glad we've got him for 1 more game. It's been so much fun to watch him grow up as a football player.

Don't count the Giants out yet. According to ESPN he's the seventh best pass rusher in the draft.

Maybe if the Lions keep bombing, getting early picks, and taking GT's finest, the Lions will turn into a GT all-star team in 10 years and start a 30 year dynasty!

How can they leave off the interception for a TD by MJ....especially considering the focus of the paragraph on him? :ugh:

I hope we do not lose another player into the abyss of the Detroit Lion organization.
When Calvin signed there I said he would disappear for 5 years and we would only see tv coverage of him on Thanksgiving. Well...it is even worse that first thought.

MJ will be a 15 to 20 pick. If he has a stellar combine he will be 8 to 12

I'll be willing to bet you are wrong JD. MJ will be a top 3-5 pick. You must not forget that the NFL is very NBAish with their top 5 picks. People draft off of potential as much as anything.

1.) Great DT and DE's are a rarity in drafts and typically the best ones in the class are at the top of the board.
2.) MJ has more upside potential than ANY of the players coming out of school just due to his measureables. But even so, he's still a very productive player in spite of his great measureables so there is little risk with drafting him so high.
3.) There are no franchise QB's in this draft.

He will be a top 3 or top 5 pick. I don't see him going lower than #5. I could also see him going #1 overall if he had a sick combine. He's a better pro prospect that Gaines Adams out of Clemson two years ago and Gaines went #4.

Pro scouts were drooling over his performance in the Miami and UGA games. He practically owned the side of the line he was on and how many times did he force the QB to throw the ball differently than he planned if not blocked it all together? He's a top 5 pick.
