Moral Dilemma

My wife and I have decided to go to the TECH/uga game this year. Great. Her cousin and her husband will coming too. Good. Now for the issue - the three of them are all UGA fans.

So, my question to everyone here is: where is the best place to sit so that A.) I do not take up seats Tech fans will be occupying, and B.) I can still enjoy the game myself. Keep in mind I have never been to BDS before.

Any spot in the new BDS has a good view of the field. Get some upper deck seats somewhere - plenty of UGA fans will be around for your relatives to bark and drool with.

Epic Dilemma

Unfortunately, Dawg fans will be peppered throughout the entire stadium anyway. Therefore, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Now your next big issue is that you married into Dawgs...Ummmmm…Nope, I can’t help you there….your on your own. ;)

I would convince them that the game is in Athens this year and tell them you will meet them there. If you can accomplish this, I will have several beers with your name on them...

Any seat in BDS is good. Although there are some seats in the north stands, where it starts to turn towards the west stands, where you can't hear our band at all. It is some sort of weird acoustical effect.

As for you problem, hold the tickets until you get to the gate. Then pretend to throw the tickets. They will look and search for those tickets for hours. It always works on my dogs.

I'll buy the hotdogs :D

I guess the question is, do they return the favor and give you 4-5 UGA tickets when the game is there?

If not...I would claim its sold out.

Well, I got the response I expected. As Mustang pointed out, Red/Black will be visible everywhere.

So, now I'm looking for tickets. Stub Hub has tickets in section 128 for $159. If anyone here has four tickets to sell, let me know. I'll even buy a flex pak if anyone has four of those available. Otherwise, I will be whipping out my credit card and heading to Stub Hub early next week.

There is NO WAY IN HELL I would sell for ANY amount of money Georgia Tech tickets knowing that butt sniffers would be sitting in them...no freakin' way!:angryfire:

I was going to point out the same thing - I don't think you're going to have much luck on this board buying tickets when you've already said that Ugag fans with be using 3 out of 4. Looks like a ticket broker is for you.

I would buy one ticket and tell the rest of the group that the tickets are at will call in their name. Disappear into the crowd and take MARTA home that night. In a few weeks, your wife will start talking to you again when the trash piles up. The in laws will never put you in the position of securing tickets for them again and your ethical dilemna is forever solved.

Being outnumbered 3:1 I'm pretty sure this isn't your problem to worry about. Upper deck, north end zone, kindly suggest that they buy tickets. As has already been said, no sensible stingtalker is going to sell you tickets that will be used by uga fans. Also, unless uga is undefeated, the price will come down from $159.

Your best bet is to take the family somewhere tropical (with tv, of course) for the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Sounds like a fine day to be in the Channel 2 Room at the Varsity, the Dawgs will blend in well there. You and your bride will be enjoying a victory in BDS with your fellow Tech Alumni. Mean while your former friends will take Marta home, you and your bride will be on Grant Field helping to bring down the goal post.

What a great day.

Wouldnt spend the money on those tickets just yet. You will be able to find them up until the day of the game - probably for cheaper. Give it time and just keep an eye out for deals.

However, I still feel it best not to bring any UGAg fans into our stadium..there will be enough already.

You guys suck. I didn't really expect to be able to buy any tickets here. I know I wouldn't sell to UGA fans if I had them. Then again, I don't so who knows what I'd do. Anyway, it may end up only being myself and one UGA fan - if I'm lucky. The wife's cousin and her husband may not come.

This is not a moral dilemma. A moral dilemma is should I really eat this fruit my wife gave me after God told me not to. What you have is a fig leaf dilemma. You need to know where to find the best covering for your sin. I got no help for you, man.
