Calvin Johnson(as well as some others) Leaves Practice this moning with an unspecified knee injury

As well as some others? Our top two wide recievers and our only secondary member with any experience.

Losing any of these three would be disastrous.

Correct...James Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Kenny Scott all left practice early with various knee and foot injuries. All are expected to return soon as it is believed cramping to be the major issue.
 
CJ is our best player, but I think one could argue that Scott would be a bigger loss this year. We need a lockdown corner, meanwhile CJ must have a QB connecting with him. Scott could be bigger, but I'm happy to hear they are all okay.
 
I wonder if the artifitial turf O'Leary had installed on the west side of Rose Bowl field is contributing to any of these leg injuries in practice.

They ought to keep track of all the leg injuries in practice, and on which of the two practice fields the injury occurred.:twocents:
 
Per the message above, they appear to be mainly cramps, not actual knee injuries.
