The scutlebutt is that NCAA scrutiny of the proram is imminent with death penalty type allegations.
UAB was aggresively pursuing Jimbo Fisher. He was on the UA short list. The Board of Regents to protect Tuscalusa told the UAB AD no way.

Then, UAB ended up hiring Neil Calloway from under Richt. This after Richt was moving more offensive control to Calloway after 6 years. He called the O plays for the first time in the Chicken Bowl.
