I loved the skit's on the jumbotron during official reviews:biggthumpup:

I think the 'let's get loud' type things are a little cheesy but these were hilarous

In a year or two, cowbells may be banned from college football. Every year there are more and more complaints about one of the SEC school's (can't remember which) infamous cowbells and how they should be banned. And every year they get closer to the ban.

Are airhorns allowed in the stadium?

I thought that last clip before the ill fated kickoff that led to Miami's final touchdown ran a little long and was a distraction at a key point, but thats nit picking.

Airhorns were not allowed in the stadium even back in the 60's though the vendors sold them outside the stadium.

Mississippi State is Cowbell U. We will be experiencing that firsthand in a few years.

I like some of what they are doing, but I could definitely do without the cheesy animated whistle.

I took my 4 year-old daughter to the Samford game. She thought the first-down whistle was "the map" from Dora.

At least, she was entertained.

Agreed, whistle is annoying, would prefer a video of the real whistle or something. At least they're doing new things though, I guess Rad either cleaned some house in the marketting/gameday atmosphere dept or kicked the ones that were there into gear.

Im not a fan of artificial stuff, but we're getting there and I'd like to say the fanbase has had an impact in the last 2 games.

Agreed that the cartoon whistle needs to go.

However, the SNL or Mad TV skits are hilarious.
Nearly as funny is that the majority of the dawg fans next year won't get the humor.

I am pop culture "challenged" so someone around me usually has to explain them. Mildly annoying to say the least, but then I date myself.

Artificial noise makers are banned in the Big XII.
