More Miami Suspensions to come (10/19)...

After Anthony Reddick and Brandon Meriweather issued apologies, on their own, without university urging, yesterday officials at the "U" suspended the players from school immediately for unspecified violations of team rules and displaying more moral backbone than any ACC or "U" official.

Jon Swofford, ACC Commissioner stated "Golly gee, this is just embarassing to the ACC. We want to send a message to our favorite programs that we'll protect you no matter what, and this just undermines that. My favorite programs can't do anything wrong. Further, this is keeping me from quality time with Roy Williams. I could just stare into his eyes all day."

Donna Shalala agreed. "We did nothing wrong. These players must be dismissed for not acknowledging the moral righteousness of defending the 'U'. I still do not plan to watch the video or succumb to this thing called reality." Larry Coker, making sure to get permission from Shalala added "this will not reflect poorly on the 'U' b/c I'm going to cap those suckers."

BTW..for those on the board with no sense of humor, this is a joke, and it is in response to the actual apologies issued by two miami players that are allegedly a surprise to the "U". See linkhttp://www.ajc.com/falcons/content/shared-gen/ap/General_Football_News/FBC_Miami_Brawl_Fallout.html

Pee Wee Herman filled in for Larry Coker and reiterated " I have full control of this Program, If you do not beleive me ask Lamar Thomas and Ms. Shlalalalala".:laugher:

I watched the replay fo the fight last night on CSS. The officials are idiots. You could tell leading up to the fight that it was about to go down. Sometimes it is the officials' responsibility to get the game under control.

By the way, the comments of the fired color commentator were conveniently edited out.
