Morgan Burnett

He is a stud, no doubting that.

For some younger guys, I have been very impressed with Derrick Morgan over the first 2 games and Kyle Jackson has been in on several plays so far today.

Yep, hes a player....Cooper looks very good as well, but I haven't seen JWD do anything...As the game has gone on the LB's have looked much better. gotta hang on to the damn ball...saw Sylvester(34)on special teams, so he's not gonna red shirt

I think his nickname should be STEADY.....He's has been a FACTOR since the moment he stepped onto the field last year....He's a IMPRESSIVE player & he should've gotten more preseason PROPS but the numbers won't lie so LET EM DOUBT him....& LET HIM PROVE THEM WRONG!!! GO JACKETS....GIVE'EM HELL BURNETT!!!!

Also, how about Rashaad Reid stepping up today?!

Been gone a while and was reading this thread about to post that same thing... That played coverages very well and even had a pick

Burnett is the best natural DB I've seen so early in career since Randy Rhino.

They made sure to stay away from him. Went at Butler most of the day. TD play against JWD was a good play and the WR made a good play after JWD caught the ball. They went deep on him late and he was all over it.

Agreed. JWD gets some flack sometimes, but I think he's come a long way. Much like Kenny Scott, we only tend to notice him when a play is made on him and forget about all the times he executes well and the ball is not thrown to the WR he's covering.

He's not a shut down corner, but I'm happy with the way he played today (and how I think he'll perform this season).

Yea, I watched a little closer in the 2nd half, and they didn't want any part of him......Has anybody mentioned the move that Nesbitt made on their stud LB #16 (Toal I think)on that last drive....when we were having post game prayer, i noticed him on his hands and knees still looking for his jock..:laugher::laugher:...and I still can't get over how much more physical we were today.
