Man, Morgan Burnett may be the best football player I have ever seen at Grant Field! I love to watch that guy play defense. What a football player. I'd definitely put him up there with some of the best I've seen.

You often see the "game-changer" type talent on the offensive side of the ball because it is more obvious, but honestly, Morgan Burnett may be the MVP of this team.

I don't know if he still has the nation's lead in interceptions, but he nearly picked off two more against FSU - or was it three?

He's a helluva athlete.
 
Morgan Burnett made numerous clutch plays in the game. He is a total playmaker. He definitely has Sunday-esque talent.

We had some FSU fans in front of us who were amazed by Burnett. They just kept turning around and asking who he was. Gladly I rattled off the fact that he is (or was ... I haven't checked) the leader in interceptions in I-A college football.

I'd be surprised if he did. I think the only way he would come back for his 4th year would be if we seriously looked like we were going to make a National type run in 2010. He is really tight with Nesbitt, Be Be and Dwyer though so maybe they'll all stay 2 more years. If so, 2010 is going to be a VERY VERY special year for us.
