Morgan Burnett

I agree that he's closer to the top 25 than that, but the key is that he's FINALLY getting the attention he deserves. If he has another big year, he's a lock for a top draft spot.
 
Just wait until Tennessee safety Eric Berry comes up. Despite the fact that Uno has better stats Berry will probably be top 20.
 
However, maybe, just maybe, he's our best ever, and that's saying sumthin! Swilling, Ford, Rhino, Clay, and especially Rutland were great, no doubt, but this dude is very special and I think his NFL career will justify my opinion.

Tough to say stats mean anything when they come against different competition. NCAA-wide lists like this pretty much have to be completely subjective.
 
I think 40 is about right, because being a baller at SS isn't quite as important as being a baller at QB/DE/DT/OT/RB etc. That's why you always see those positions go in the first round of the NFL draft and rarely see more than 1 safety taken that early. It's just a position thing, that's all. Everyone knows Burnett is a stud.

Well said. You can't argue with your heart and your allegiance. 40 is a great spot to be in preseason, and only his on field performance will move that number
