I had to be in Atlanta for a Wednesday meeting and had the "pleasure" of reading the AJC. How did everyone like Barnhardt's ranking of the bowls in terms of excitement in watching? UGA-Hawaii was #1, ahead of the national championship game? UCF-Mississippi State at #7, 20 spots ahead of our game?
You can't tell me the sports department at that paper is not willing to jab Tech fans whenever they can.

like you I'm scratching my head on that one. Ugag's bowl is one of the more interesting matchups and will garner lots of press (Hawaii being undefeated, should they win are they national champs/controversy, Colt Brennan's name is being thrown around as a Heisman candidate, etc.. on UGA's side, will they continue to play as one of the hottest teams now or be lackluster due to playing Hawaii, ..) However, #1???

As for our bowl, I'm surprised we're ranked as high as he gave us, quite honestly. It is not even a second teir bowl, they'll be few fans there (how many GT tickets sold?!), blue astroturf, cold, no coach, yet, etc..
