It's a little stupid to you that Georgia Tech fans don't want tickets sold to their arch rivals? Do you think most fans think it's okay to have a designated visitors section or just a necessary evil? I think you need some new perspective if you don't see why we want to keep U[sic]GA fans out of our stadium as much as possible.

If you care about it that much, why don't you make it a practice to go on ebay and outbid a few mutts for these tickets and then donate them to needy Tech fans? If you expect the seller to make a monetary sacrifice to accomplish your goal, you should be willing to make a sacrifice too, right?

Of course I would rather have less red-wearing fans than our faithful white/yellow/old gold/Vegas gold/blue/black/mustard-wearing fans, but I don't care so much that I would shame someone for selling their tickets. It's their tickets, their business, and we can't regulate them anyway, so why worry about it? Just beat the mutts. BEAT THE MUTTS. It's the universal solution to your mutt-related woes.

By the way, does anyone out there know how it is determined each year how many tickets for a given game are visitors' section tickets? Has anyone taken a closer look at what factors the GTAA looks at to determine how many mutts they are selling tickets to? I had never thought about it before...

There is probably a set number that is the same for every home game.
