Great series of posts.
As one of the most critical skills needed by a college coach is recruiting. How about editing your comments on each coach to include your assessment of their skills in this area.

My suggestions would be the following:
1.) Move Tommie Robinson from wide receivers to running backs. The receivers had too many drops and ran poor routes. Robinson was running backs coach at Oklahoma State. He was highly thought of by people there when he coached that position.
2.) Move Patrick Nix from running backs to qaurterbacks. He was a qb in college and that helps. He was also a QB's coach at Jacksonville State. I just don't think O'Brien is doing the job with the QB's.
3.) Make O'Brien just the offensive coordinator or OC/Tight Ends. I would like to see what he did in the Seattle Bowl. I think just making him OC like Tenuta is as DB would help.
4.) Fire Tommy Raye - Hate to be mean but having mediocre special teams with a full time special teams coach is not acceptable.
5.) Have Glenn Spencer coach the special teams. He's the most underrated coach on the staff. I think he could develop high caliber special teams.

6) Bring back David Kelly = A terrific coach and recruiter. Look how our WR play dropped off this year.

71, I have no expertise on the recruiting abilities of these coaches. I copied the resumes when the coaches were hired, and only made a few notes, at the bottom of each, based on their resumes. It would be a poor effort on my part to predict their recruiting abilities.
Maybe someone else could offer their opinions.
