I am not a fan of either one of these choices but I would accept either as our coach. I have read a lot about each of them in the last week and it seems they are very similar. I no problem with the dawg business but it seems as if the are pretty much the same would it not be more prudent to hire the one who is already a part of the program?

I know what the AJC is saying about Muschamp but come on guys it is the AJC. :bump:

Hey, as long as we don't get Newheisel I'm happy. I figure there's no way we slip past Tenuta, and I said before this whole mess started that I'd be happy with Tenuta as HC.

I completely agree, beej. Hatcher was my favorite from the get-go, so I'd be quite content if we get him. And, from what I read from the boards, my opinion isn't all that uncommon. But, I still think Tenuta would be a solid coach. The man WANTS to win, and that's really the point. Heck, I've liked Muschamp from the start.

Basically, I just can't get past RN and the probation thing, much like others can't get past WM and the ugag thing. And, more so than the probations, I've just never been a fan of guys from the NFL, even if they had college experience. I know he's been successful, but RN feels like a retread for me.

But, there are smarter people than me at the helm. If we bring in RN, I'll know it was for good reasons. I'll be there August 30th with bells on, no matter what.
