don't like all the negative energy on the "Muschamp Out" thread, so I thought it was better to start anew. the naysayers are looking for any kind of traction that they can get to derail a great HC candidate. don't take the bait.

i'm personally for WM, but will support Drad 100% in whoever he hires. great Gt football is on the way.

My only side would be rad interviewd them both, and is seeing how the team is or isn't reacting to tenuta now...and that is enough for him to make the call.

I love JT.

But its my personal opinion WM may end up the better HC...who knows though. Its all just a guess.

You should change the name of your thread. I got really disappointed when I saw it. I am still holding out hope that Hatch is telling his team that he will be the next head coach at georgia tech.

Do you know why the Hive sucks? Among other things, terribly misleading and uninformative thread titles. Sorry, but "Muschamp In" is a very annoying, misleading title.

I'm not the biggest Muschamp fan, he'd be my 4th choice at this point. That being said, I'll be behind him until the product on the field shows me otherwise.

zactly.... those supporting muschamp are funny... he went to UGA, his defenses continually get shredded by UGA, but but but he yells Boom MF to players so HIRE HIM. :rolleyes:

I continue to wonder how much the friendship of WM and Drad played in this process. I know DRad wouldnt hire him just because they are friends, but (if Muschamp is the guy) I hope he would still be Drad's choice even if they were not friends.

I will definitely concede that elements of the interview process, should it go a certain way, could persuade me that Muschamp is a better option than Tenuta.

makes no sense.. Tenuta is one of the best in the biz...he's already got GT connections.. why bring another ASSISTANT defensive coach who is not proven as a HC. Do some have UGA envy in a subconscious weird way perhaps?

First, I'll second those above who say I'll be 100% behind WM when the introduce him. I may have a shorter fuse so to speak.

Second, Coordinators are a huge crapshoot. However I think that WM and Rad's prior relationship is a huge positive. Rad has spent a lot of his career around people who are good football coaches who have worked with WM. They have to have voiced their opinion on WM at various times in the past. If Rad wants WM over some very fine cndidates with experience he has to have heard some very positive assessments in the past. It would not appear that he is reacting to a super-hot flavor of the month type recommendation.
