After thinking about it a while, Gailey will probably promote Nix from within. It is an easy pick for Gailey to make. It will allow him to run his offense thru a young Nix the way O'Leary ran his defense thru a young Roof.

Also, this would be a very hard time to hire an outstanding offensive mind away from another program, if that was what Gailey wanted to do. But I really think he has other plans. Only time will tell.

I concur.

Coach has too much experience managing other people's money. He can promote from within and hire another asst if he likes, pocket the change, and put a feather in his cap.
