At the beginning of the season, I predicted we would have a record of 3-9 this season. Some of you scolded me harshly, and I said I would come back and admit I was wrong if such was the case. It was my honest opinion after watching the spring game.

Well, here I am to admit I was wrong!! I don't see any reason to wait until the end of the season to admit it. I am glad I was wrong. I have been really impressed overall by the way this team plays and the scheme Coach Johnson runs.

We are one win away from bowl eligibility. I would never have guessed that. I am proud of the Jackets!!

Lets win out....and prove me REALLY wrong!!!

Go Jackets!

I predicted that anything between 3 wins and 9 wins would not surprise me (I know I went out on a limb there). After 8 games I still cannot get a good read on this team. We realistically could win out or lose out...I have no clue. With that said I am somewhat happy with the results so far. We are not playing very well and still winning 75% of the games.

I, too, questioned whether or not we'd make a bowl this year. Feels great to be proven wrong! =)

True, but at this point in the season if we don't win a single game, it'll be a tragedy of epic proportions.

i predicted that we would win between 7 and 9 games. i said that anything less than seven would be a disappointment, seeing as how we had been able to do that for several years running - even under trying circumstances.

i am glad that PJ has expected at least that much also. he is one of the few that is not willing to give himself the "new offense" free pass. he wants to win, and so do we! and critically, so do the players!

there has been more on-the-field leadership out of the young guys this year than in a LONG time. i am proud of the team for that. i would be weary to bet against the Jackets for any game the rest of the schedule, even though none will be easy.

Go Jackets!

Buzz, Your middle para. says it all. We finally have a coach that "Gets It".

The man is pissed and the staff is pissed as well. They came here to win and win right now.

Reminds me of a radio interview I once heard with our previous head coach after another 'average' season. He was asked if he was disappointed and his response was something along the lines of, "Why would I be disappointed, we won the games we were favored to win." Big difference in expectations from the previous regime to the new one.
