Well...he had a decent defense at PSU this year...

Please somebody tell me this is a joke, some elaborate, cruel joke.
 
I honestly don't know a ton about his coaching career other than what I've seen on here (wasn't following football back when he coached here), but reading the article, there are certainly some nice stats. Of course I'd like to see/hear some more of the other side of the coin.
 
Not that his defenses at Tech were great, but they were better than the dumpster fires of the last 5 years. They'll learn to tackle better.
 
I like Roof, loved him as a player and wished he had more success in his first stint as DC. Hopefully, it will work out better this time.
