IMO joe might be considered a sleeper, but I'm not sure of that. Because, and the BIG QUESTION IS did Auburn and NC ST offer. The Hive data base says that is so, and if that is correct then I would not necessarily call him a sleeper. My question also is why did we get in on him late, but that may not be so either! He just appeared on the aforementione data base late. Either way he being sleeper or a true blue chipper he looks to me like very good pick up. 6'3and 230 or40 lbs. runs 4.67-40, 2nd team coaches 5a all state looks impressive. With those stats ect. why wasn't he recruited even more, and maybe he was!!!! Darn glad to have you here on flats Joe and good luck!!!

Thanks for checking in; always glad to hear your recruiting assessments.

Techrod...there are many players on the coaches list that are not on any "public lists"... in many cases, the more choices an athlete has, the longer the decision process may take... we can stay in the game and be patient, or move on... for the first time in a long time, we seem to be playing the patient game... we will find out on Feb 5th.

I read an interview that one of the Florida papers had with him and he said that Tech was looking at him early and that he got off to a slow start but after he turned his season around he began to hear a lots from Tech. In fact, he said that South Carolina wanted him to visit them this coming weekend but he was happy with Tech.
This could be a decent catch.

Additionally, he transferred from 2A school to a 4A school for his senior year.Probably lost a little visibility changing schools his senior year

That's a great point. Changing schools means changing systems as well as teammates. Quite an adjustment.
