son was invited into a UGA box at half time when we were losing by 28-12 by the owner of the box who is a good friend of his. After we tied the score, he was told to leave by several other UGA guests. And understandably so, he can be obnoxious as hell at a UGA game even to me. But, a couple of influential Tech guests in the box said hell no, he is staying! I think one of 'em was either a player or a friend of a player on the NC team, there was too much noise in the background to hear clearly on the phone.

Had a similar experience happen to me back in 2000. Was asked to leave a box I technically had my seats in. I told them to kiss my ass that I wasn;t leaving unless a cop had a gun to my head. Then I told them thanks for the food and the entertainign beat down. Dawg fans are such pieces of crap.

Most of them are and it's why I hate to lose to them. But there are a lot of good ones too that we know that we consider friends.

Talked to him again this morning. The part about asking him to leave was all in good fun between his friend and former Tech players.
His friend actually pulled him up into the box from the UGA student section below, with the aid of some students.
Interesting that the key to the wine cooler is white and gold! For this experience, son promised he would get him a red and black one for Christmas.
