Mark Stoops of Kentucky. What he has accomplished at Kentucky is pretty impressive in my opinion. He comes from a good coaching background. I mostly like his discipline and the way he runs his program. He seems to be a no BS type of coach who commands respect and if you don’t want to play for him, then you can hit the door. I thinking recruiting at Kentucky would be somewhat comparable in some aspects.

Curious for opinions.

We need more threads here speculating on totally unrealistic hires for Georgia Tech's new football coach.

Maybe one thread per name. Maybe more than one . . . not sure we have enough Deion threads here yet.

He’ll retire at that Kentucky job. They love him and pay him well. He’s currently signed through 2027 and will make $8million per year at the end of his current deal.

Thanks Champ, I had no idea what his contract called for. Thank you for the info

Even Kentucky is paying their coach up to 8 mil a year? Dayum!

I think we most likely end up with someone that hasn’t been a head coach at a power five school yet.

Yeah, he would be a decent bet but he's not leaving Kentucky.

The guy who threw a temper tantrum blaming us when his players hurt each other, only to have CPJ drag his balls across his face and put him in his place? Yea no thanks.

Seems like a hothead to me. And not in a controlled, effective, knows-how-to-use-it way.
