...at the thought of Gailey leaving. Say what you will about mediocrity under him, this season was a big improvement and the program seems to be pointed in the right direction.

Our recruiting class is outstanding, and we will lose many of them if Chan leaves.

My only hope is that, if this happens, Tenuta gets the head coaching job and Giff Smith gets DC. Although many seem to think Tenuta isn't head coaching material (I am completely ignorant to the situation and feel he's earned a shot), I think it's the best way to preserve our direction(ie our stellar recruiting class). Throw in an overhaul on the offensive side of the ball and we have ourselves a great situation.

I don't want to see Gailey leave either. Or Tenuta, or Giff Smith. This class coming in is what we've been waiting for, and year 2 with Nix could be better. Year one without Ball could be better. I want to see Gailey here.

And yes, bizarre. Still very bizarre.
