NC State Post Game Thread

The chronic miscues are discouraging, but we were right in the game against a 7-3 team despite being without our best player and half our defense. There are legit criticisms of this staff given the lingering issues, but this is a win if we were remotely healthy. It's probably a win if we just have Gibbs.

The run game has been excellent the last two games.

The freshman talent ont the field, the marketing, attitude and recruiting around the program is fantastic.

Nothing these coaches have put on the field, however, is noteworthy, and downright bad at times.

Edit. Strength and Conditioning does seem to be making our athletes bigger and stronger.

Would have been nice to only have been down by 7 on that last drive after kicking at field goal at the half rather than going full dumbass. May have prevented P’nope from going stupid with his his play calls and take stress off our overrated freshman qb. Collins is not a good coach.

Penalties cost us the game
Those two false starts were crushing.
I can’t imagine how pissed the coaches must of been.
4 point swing.
Also a couple of the PI calls on us were garbage.
Proud of the defense for keeping us in the game undermanned

Left too many points on the field with mistakes and bogging down once they got onto NC State's side of the field. You can't do that with your defense held together with duct tape because of missing personnel. That side of the ball actually played valiantly, particularly in the second half, and deserved better from the offense.

Suspect they might've won this game with a healthy Gibbs, but that's obviously unprovable.

Disagree. The defense was good today. Not just flashes of potential, but sustained periods of high quality play.

The run game was also quite good, though I'm not sure how much of that is the coaches versus individual talent.

Agree, we look ready to turn a corner in 2021. Which is why we better or the staff is toast.

We are close to being good. Really not that mad about this one. Injuries and corona put 10 players out, couple of guys have shut it down. Just wanna see the young guys play well in these last couple.

Stewart has figured out short kicks, which is nice.

Brought some pretty good pressure with no AC or Domineck. Pass rush will be formidable next year.

What was with our wide receivers “just jogging routes” according to the announcers.

We got a bunch of “loafers” on the team at WR???
